Library trip

I went to the university library yesterday and noticed some little lounge they have there off the staircase and enclosed with a glass wall. There are about 7 or 8 love seat sized sofas in there arranged in groups and sleeping on each one of them was an Indian girl, all waring identical aqua-matrine and magenta saris decorated with rhinestones. It looked like a Symbolist painting.

I see you're really interested. I can only think there was some sort of dance troupe performing at one of the campus theaters. But why they should be in the library, I can't imagine.

Oh I love this sort of random mystery, as evinced by the hundreds of hours I spend trying to identify buildings I've found in 19th century photographs.

Maybe they were jet-lagged and tired and it was the best quiet place they could find.
