This is why I become depressed thinking of his later career.

This one just couldn't be more surreal.

As far as I'm concerned, Dudley Moore only worked with Peter Cook

Ah, Dudley Moore... Wonderful.

Do you know the comedian Bill Bailey, perchance?

I have to say the same as John Cleese:

(though I might steal 'shell-shocked Luddite')

Haha, I'm very glad to have introduced you to him, then!

He did have a formal Classical music education and is passionate about it; it inspires much of his comedy, although there are not so many full-length parodies of Classical pieces like Moore (perhaps he is only too aware of most people's attention spans nowadays).

We're all going to steal 'shell-shocked Luddite' now. :)

Anyone who just casually drops in on a few seconds of a Vierne organ piece has had a classical music education!
