Here's the new house.





We should be moved in by the end of the month or not much later.

The real estate agent expressed surprise about how 'difficult' the former owner was. Considering she sold the house because she lost her job, and the emotional investment represented by the numerous rosebushes that cover the property, it would be surprising if she wasn't difficult.

Its still in Collinsville, not much than a mile away.

I may post more photos tomorrow or Sunday. But I'll have to scale them down; with the new camera each snapshot is 2 or 3 meg.

Oh, absolutely you'll get more pictures eventually. Today, I'm going over to seriously start cleaning the place. While the previous owner took wonderful care of the place, it's gotten a bit dusty from having sat empty for about a year.

As cat lovers yourselves, one of the things I found very funny was that after she left (actually she is now in California with her family), she also left a handwritten note taped into one of the windows which reads--we haven't removed it yet--"In case of fire, please save my three cats." I just don't have the heart to take it down for some reason.
