Marten Eskil Winge

Thanks to Onooyes (and less directly Stephanie Bean) I was introduced to Marten Winge, a Swedish artist interested in illustrating Norse Myth.

Here is a painting of Loki from 1863 (I haven't tracked down the myth yet):
