What excitement! I'm glad you're alright. I have no opinion in either way about your meth lab suspicion, but I wondered why you called the city to report unmowed grass. (Frequent disturbance of the peace by night is the only thing I can think of I'd make the effort to report at all. And up till now my neighbours have always been quicker, so I didn't even have to bother about that.)
