Madeline's Hair and My New User Pic
Mar. 2nd, 2010 01:37 pmI must say I am quite pleased with my new user picture. I'm not much of a fan of Disney movies in general, and if I were ever forced in some level of hell to play in a Disney film, I would much rather play an evil queen or a Siamese cat rather than a princess.
This morning, I found myself parodying these cats. In Lady and the Tramp, there's a point where the two of them, during the single song they were allowed to have, say, "Do you hear what I hear? A baby cry. Where we finding baby, there are milk nearby!" Cracks me up every time.
So this morning, as I was trying to get the tangles out of Madeline's hair--her hair has grown impossibly long--Madeline kept protesting and complaining about how much I was hurting her. So I said, "Do you hear what I hear? A Madeline cry. Where we finding Madeline cry, there are hairbrush nearby!" I could tell Madeline wanted to laugh at the joke, but realizing it was at her expense, wouldn't give me the satisfaction.
