Holy Freudian Slip!
Nov. 2nd, 2007 11:20 amWhile typing out a little article I am working on, I meant to type 'Byzantine saints' but the second word came out 'giants.'
Given the vagueries of my typing, it might ahve been possible to take that as a simple mistake, except for the fact that giants (from the destructive monsters that challenged Zeus' cosmic rule in Hesiod) was Neoplatonic school slang for Christians.
